The Top Ten List is In!

The number one favorite book in fifth grade right now!

Every few months I have students vote on a top ten list of favorite books for the class.  I picked this up from a few of my colleagues a couple of years ago.  Students are in charge of collecting the votes and compiling the list so I’m always surprised when they hand it to me.  Drumroll please….

The Strange Case of the Origami Yoda by Tom Angelberger

Warriors (apparently they love the entire series) by Erin Hunter

The City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau

Eleven by Patricia Reilly Giff

Pendragon #1 by D.J. McHale

How I Became A Writer and Oggie Learned to Drive by Phillis Reynolds Naylor

The Alchemyst by Michael Scott

Rangers Apprentice: Halt’s Peril by John Flanagan

A Mango Shaped Space by Wendy Mass

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
